Position Description
The Truck Washer will wash and clean trucks, vehicles, trailers, and equipment using pressure washers, cleaning agents, cloths, hoses, and scrub brushes.
Duties and responsibilities
Washes the exterior of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment
Inspect for areas that may need repair while washing
Report all damages to equipment to the appropriate personnel
Use cleaning agents, pressure washers, and cleaning equipment following company safety policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned, delegated, or necessary for operations
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Truck washing experience preferred
Ability to pass a pre-employment urine drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
Working conditions
Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures
Occasional exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises
May be required to work 50+ hours, 6 days a week
Physical requirements
Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner
Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments
Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment
Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally
Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching
Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 50 pounds
