General Summary

Eastern Michigan University's GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology has several part-time lecturer positions open in engineering technology and construction management. These positions are open to deliver programs in the People Republic of China in Summer 2025. The position requires one to be physically in China for the period of teaching.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

This position will require in-person teaching at our partner institution in the Republic of China during May and June 2025. Teaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course materials to their supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.

Perform related departmental duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have the following minimum requirements:

1. Master's degree in the MET, CEET, or PDET or in a related discipline (for Engineering Technology). Master's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (for Construction Management).

2. College teaching or industrial training experience
