Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and productivity to internal and external standards. This role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. They will collaborate closely with other departments to support the smooth flow of goods and materials within the warehouse, contributing to Group O’s overall operational success.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control.
- Provide training to employees in the following areas: Work instructions, Equipment operation, and Safety.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and supplies, arranging for maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and productivity metrics.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in warehouse management.
Expected hours of work:
- Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads.
- On-call accessibility.
Job Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Preferred Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of secondary education and experience
Preferred Experience:
- 6+ months of prior material handling / fork truck equipment operation experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
