Tasks:
-- Supervise staff to ensure the safe and correct completion of warehouse processes
-- Resource planning and rostering to meet quality and cost targets
-- Prepare reporting on inventory and supplies levels of stock and create orders according to demand requirements
-- Deliver training to staff, or supervision of training delivered by direct reports to staff, and ensure all training is documented according to business
standards
-- Manage performance of staff and develop performance improvement plans for staff, along with development plans for staff
-- Manage the performance of suppliers for terminal handling associated processes
-- Manage compliance to procedures and company, safety, security and regulatory requirements"
Key Responsibilities:
-- Warehouse process quality, system accuracy and customer response
-- Warehouse staff management and development
-- Inventory management, stock control
-- Cost management, forecasting and budgeting
-- Safety, security and regulatory compliance
-- Equipment maintenance
-- Service delivery levels
-- Supplier service performance supervision (identifying and reacting to day to day service performance issues)
Requirements:
-- 3 years’ of warehouse management experience, preferably within airline, transportation or logistics industry.
-- Excellent communication skills in English, spoken and written
-- Strong leader with focus on developing others
-- Builds and maintains strong professional relationships
-- Pronounced ability to use own initiative and high level of motivation
-- Quick comprehension and analytical approach
-- Very good communication skills and strong social competence combined with a “can do” approach
-- High level of independence and ability to set priorities
-- Certificate level in process management, health and safety or supply chain management preferred
