Compensation for this position ranges from $46k to $52k, depending on qualifications and experience, with opportunities for overtime.

AFSPA offers an excellent benefits package, including up to 13 vacation days, 13 sick days, and 2 personal days annually, along with 10 paid federal holidays. All full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance (single and family) and life insurance starting the month following their start date. A generous 401(k) plan with employer match is also available after one year of employment.


Hybrid work schedule until otherwise notified.

Hybrid work schedules are based on business needs and may require you to work in the office up to four days per week.


Summary: Provide administrative assistance and support to the Compliance Department


Duties and Responsibilities


Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate meetings and create and edit meeting materials *
  • Provide logistical, and audio-visual support for meetings *
  • Take Quality Management Committee meeting minutes*
  • Create, edit, file, and maintain documents and databases *
  • Coordinate, track, and monitor States of Emergencies and International Emergencies *
  • Prepare and submit expense reports and invoices *
  • Edit and maintain Compliance Workplan *
  • Open, process and distribute physical mail and monitor Compliance inbox and intranet requests *
  • Coordinate business travel *
  • Other duties as assigned *

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Work Location:

AFSPA utilizes the following work locations: New Carrollton, Maryland Satellite Office; Washington, DC Headquarters; and hybrid remote. AFSPA does not have any fully remote positions.


Work locations will be assigned and/or changed based upon business need and at Management's sole discretion.
