Peoples National Bank is seeking a highly motivated, customer oriented individual for the Assistant Retail Sales Manager position at our Clayton Branch. 

 

This position manages branch staff and operations, achieves profitability & deposit growth goals, is a sales leader, manages cost effectiveness and ensures compliance with banking regulations/procedures/policies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, selecting, training, and developing staff; completes and conducts performance appraisal
  • Oversees organization of banking center sales, operations, and service processes
  • Develops and manages profitable, multi-product relationships with individuals
  • Participates in product development, product and services changes and delivery channels and alternatives
  • Develops and implements tactics to drive deposit growth.
  • Calls on perspective and existing customers to develop professional relationships; solicits new business
  • Manages cost effectiveness of the banking center, maximizes profitability
  • Reviews, audits, modifies, and prepares a variety of operational and financial reports and general correspondence within required time limits
  • Supports Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) through business development efforts through community and civic involvement; educates banking center staff in CRA requirements; directs overall CRA efforts for the banking center

 

Qualifications for position include:

  • Five years sales experience including three years in financial services
  • Two years of supervisory experience in the deposit and consumer loan products and services area of a financial services company
  • Strong knowledge of bank operations and policies
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and complaint resolution skills
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of documents and reports including statistical information
  • Proficient computer skills in a Windows environment
