JOB SUMMARY:


Analyze and process existing data systems as well as collect, categorize and process new data systems to prepare them for inclusion in existing applications. Create design environments that meet current demand, as well as are ready to expand as future demands change.


Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting identification of new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process
  • Analyzing engineering / manufacturing data environments to prepare for integration into applications
  • Managing data sets in existing database and file system environments
  • Simulating and testing automation processes or equipment to ensure they function as desired
  • Developing and maintaining clear and accurate documentation of automation solutions or processes
  • Performing training where necessary to ensure implementation ensures sustainability
  • Troubleshooting automated processes

Requirements:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering, Information Systems, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience in developing automation solutions.
  • Experience in mainstream database management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of software development techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot application problems and perform complex system tests.
  • Strong communication skills with development team members and customers.
  • Creative thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Successful completion of application, talent assessment, interview, drug screen, and background check.
  • Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington, MO.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis (Visa sponsorship not available).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Oracle database management.
  • Engineering competencies.
