By working with our clients and listening to their needs, we gather a deep understanding of their desired outcomes, practicing creativity and innovation along the way. Qualifications



RS&H is currently seeking an interior design associate to join our team. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by performing basic predesign, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation tasks, assisting in research to support the development of proposed design solutions, assisting with formatting visual aids, renderings, and drawings for client presentations, and maintaining resource materials and scheduling meetings with manufactures' representatives. 

 

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited program. Bachelor's degree from a CIDA accredited program and eligibility to take the NCIDQ exam are strongly preferred. 
  • Have a passion for design and a willingness to learn state and local building codes, life safety codes, and other relevant ordinances.
  • Have a basic knowledge of production software.
  • Possess solid communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.
