The Clark University Master of Science in Emerging Technology (MSET) is a fully online degree program designed for working professionals who wish to rapidly advance their careers in technology. MSET requires 10 seven-week courses. Students take one course one at a time in a specific order.

Through the MSET, students gain critical skills, knowledge, and experience employers seek, including cloud computing, generative AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity. While students learn, they can earn industry certifications that will enhance their professional standing and resume. MSET is an online asynchronous program and details of the program can be found here.

The MSET Program is looking for Course Developers and Instructors for the following courses: Emerging Tech Foundations, Ethics and Governance, Cloud Computing Foundations, Advanced Cloud Computing, Gen AI Foundations, Applied ML and Deep Learning, Generative AI Models, and Cybersecurity. Preference is to hire someone who can both develop and teach the course.



Job Requirements:

Course Development Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related Emerging Technology field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Emerging Technologies demonstrated through research, professional projects, or industry experience.
  • Preferred Qualification: prior experience developing online asynchronous graduate level course(s) or training course/program(s).

Teaching Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related Emerging Technology field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Emerging Technologies demonstrated through research, professional projects, or industry experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Commitment to promoting ethical practices in emerging technologies.
  • Dedication to continuous learning, professional development, and staying updated with advancements in emerging technology and related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching experience at the graduate level for online courses.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusive excellence and an ability to integrate ethical concepts and broad understandings of diversity.
