Overview

Social Media Management

  • Create multimedia content such as graphics, photos, and short videos for social media platforms.
  • Assist in writing copy for posts, advertisements, and social media stories that are aligned with the institution’s recruitment goals.
  • Capture and share student experiences, campus life, and event highlights to attract prospective students.
  • Assist in managing the institution’s social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Create and schedule engaging content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that reflects the institution’s brand and mission.
  • Monitor social media activity, respond to comments and messages, and engage with prospective students and followers.
  • Help develop a content calendar and contribute to brainstorming sessions for upcoming posts or campaigns.
  • Track and report on social media performance (likes, shares, comments, etc.) and suggest improvements.

 



Responsibilities

  • An OHSU Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours)
  • Computer and software experience which includes MS Word, Excel, e-mail, web-site search tools and internet skills

  • General office experience
  • High level of organization and prioritization skills
  • Team oriented
  • Strong public relations and customer service skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with academic, unclassified management and classified personnel
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Experience creating web content
