Overview
Sev1Tech is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Electronics Systems Maintenance Technician to join our leadership team.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Serves as highly experienced technician capable of resolving complex system failures, developing preventive maintenance programs, training less experienced technicians, identifying systemic failures, and conducting root cause analysis in collaboration with engineering.
Manages deliberate program of developing junior technicians.
Provides oversight to ensure support equipment (test measurement and diagnostic equipment etc.) is regularly calibrated and maintained by all field sites, troubleshoots and repairs systems, performs software updates.
Install, modify, wire, fabricate and maintain systems.
Distinguish between hardware and software problems in multi-vendor systems.
Responsibilities
Must have a US Secret level security clearance
BA/BS from an accredited college or university
10 years total experience with the testing of electronic equipment. Eight years experience in the testing and trouble shooting of electronic subsystem installations in military systems. (Substitutions: One year of experience for one year of post-secondary education. One academic year at a technical school or in an accredited engineering degree program for one year of experience.)
