Senior Conference and Technology Services Portfolio Manager - Military veterans preferred

Position Summary

This is a HYBRID position located in Mclean, VA.

NCC is seeking a Senior Conference and Technology Services Portfolio Manager to join our leadership team. This individual will provide mature, service-oriented management of two to three medium-sized contract teams focused on the government’s communication with internal and external customers. This opportunity requires an experienced manager of people, contracts, and systems who can balance program, corporate, financial, and regulatory requirements while leveraging a high performing team and strong headquarters resources. The ideal candidate will lead with strength and vulnerability, have proficiency in developing loyal working relationships, empowering teams toward excellence, and a metric-centered performance mindset where every measure can be improved.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for contract performance, CPARS evaluations, data collections, analytics, and reporting, strategic staffing, and coaching of site-based management teams.
• Provide transparent policy and clear communication of work instructions, program goals, and special projects in a strongly pro-employee culture.
• Join, support, and eventually manage multi-decade relationships with government customers.
• Manage risk and support innovation using NCC’s PMO resources, site technical experts, government special procurements, and an ever-evolving mission.
• Provide extensive knowledge and advice on complex problems for effective implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (must be able to pass a criminal background check and credit check).
• Proven track record in managing on-site teams with exceptional troubleshooting abilities for complex technical or staffing issues.
• 8+ years of related experience in technology strategy and portfolio management.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP / PgMP certification
• Experience managing federal contract delivery
• Knowledge of conference support services and the technologies used by the government to present, broadcast, and archive video and audio communications

Schedule: Monday to Friday
