Overview

Sev1Tech is looking for a Program Manager to oversee and assume primary accountability for Sev1Tech performance on a multiple award BPA in support of DHS for a broad range of IT services focused on Architecture, Applications, Cloud, Communications, Data, Security Engineering, and Testing services. The candidate will serve as the main point of contact for customer leadership; ensure proper resourcing to meet known and unanticipated customer priority needs across BPA task orders; promulgate and enforce adherence to standards and processes to be followed across contract task orders; assist senior level customer leadership in developing critical strategic artifacts and in responding to top priority ad hoc data calls; inform all project staff of key developments on the contract; and report progress and risks to both customer leadership as well as Sev1Tech corporate leadership.



Responsibilities

  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred; however, any subject area is acceptable
  • At least fifteen (15) years of professional experience in federal IT contracting
  • Not less than seven (7) years of experience managing IT projects and programs
  • Experience managing at least one (1) BPA or IDIQ contract
  • Ability to effectively maintain visibility into multiple task orders performed concurrently
  • Broad understanding of IT services including some or all of the following: Architecture, Applications, Cloud, Communications, Data, Security, and Testing.
  • Demonstrated record leading IT modernization programs with measurable outcomes - e.g., including KPIs, SLAs
  • Ability to satisfy the shifting needs of senior customer leadership, including needs for data quickly
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, working with customers at multiple levels as well as other contractor team personnel
  • Understanding of and experience applying PMBOK knowledge areas and process groups, as well as other management best practices.
  • Experience delivering comprehensive, high quality Monthly Reports to multiple customers
  • Experience analyzing management dashboard data
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Knowledge of DHS HQ organizations is a plus


Qualifications



  • Experience managing IT contracts in support of DHS
  • Experience on contracts featuring use of platform-based and no code, low code development - e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow
  • ITIL Certification
  • Agile Certification (s) - e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist
