The Regional Sales Director (RSD) will perform all aspects of the Neodent Sales function in an assigned geographic region to include achieving defined sales goals, coaching, and developing assigned Territory Managers (TMs), implementing sales systems and metrics provided by Sales Excellence, and providing relevant market information and analysis to Sales Leadership. Individual will travel extensively within the region.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain & foster growth of existing customer base through focus in the following areas:
    • Incorporate Practice Growth initiatives.
    • Drive the non-premium services and offerings.
    • Develop sales strategies for new business conversions.
    • Maximizing CRM sales tools, and other analytics.
  • Demonstrate an understanding through management of Contribution Margin & Regional ASP (average sales price) to ensure the Region is within set budgets.
  • Engage and encourage the growth of the Region’s current customer base through thoughtful and creative methods that lead to the acquisition of new customers; coach & foster the team on best practices.
  • Proactively manage employee performance by coaching and development planning.
  • Promote, build, and maintain cohesion with internal partners that overlap with field sales such as Education, Inside Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources.
  • Promote synergy and encourage strong partnerships with the Lab Territory Managers, Institution Account Managers, and the Dental sales team.
  • Utilize available marketing collateral & knowledge of competitive position to thoughtfully raise awareness of growth opportunities within the Neodent and the larger Straumann Group product line.
  • Role Model a mindset that promotes a high-performance culture and mindset amongst your team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Frequent travel (including overnight travel) is required and will vary depending upon the specific territory.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5 + years of sales experience in dynamic, high-growth corporate sectors
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and auto insurance coverage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Sales management experience
  • Medical device B2B (Business to Business) industry experience
  • Proven capability with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Superior organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and proficiency in presenting product ideas
