As a Budget Analyst at Metric5 you will provide budget support to a major U.S. Army command to deliver information technology engineering and design services for a globally connected Army that offers Soldiers, Commanders and supporting organizations the ability to access, process and act upon information anytime, anywhere across DODIN.

Program

The project you will be working is to assist a DoD U.S. Army command with engineering and designing cybersecurity information technology systems. You will work directly with the stakeholders to elicit their requirements which will be translated to budget estimates.

Requirements...

  • Prepare weekly execution plans to include tracking planned versus actuals Run/post daily GFEBS Status of Funds reports
  • Process GFEBS funding documents for BMD certification
  • Monitor commitments, obligations, expenditures, and disbursements ensuring appropriations meet monthly Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) obligation and disbursement goals
  • Perform daily unliquidated obligation (ULO) and quarterly Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP) reviews for timely closeout of financial transactions
  • Clear GFEBS IDOC and Unmatched Transactions/Documents (UMTs/UMD) Assist in financial audits and internal management control reporting
  • Utilize SharePoint portal for centralized management of support documentation Prepare other budget analyst products and reports as needed.

Desired Skills:

  • DoD and Army experience

Years of Experience: 6+ years of experience or more

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA with situational telework possible.

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret required.

Salary: $90,000 -$100,000
