Position Summary

Brief Description of PSU/School/DeptPosition Summary
This position is an Adjunct Instructor position in the department of Geography for the Academic Year 2024-2025. The usual courses our pool of adjunct instructors teach are 100- and 200-level geography courses taken mainly by undergraduate students at Portland State University. . For Winter and Spring Term 2025 we are looking for the expertise to teach 400/500 level courses in instructors for classes in Water Resource Management, Political Ecology of the US West, and Climate & Society.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in geography or closely related field OR years of relevant experience in a professional field.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferably a Ph.D. in geography or closely related field.
