Title: Part-Time High School Equivalency Mathematics Instructor for Adult Learning Center

General Summary: The Middlesex Community College Adult Learning Center seeks to fill a part-time mathematics instructor position for synchronous online evening classes beginning the fall of 2025, this instructor will prepare a diverse body of students to earn a High School credential and/or develop the literacy and numeracy skills needed to qualify for further education, job training, or better employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour for teaching, prep time, meetings and professional development, eligible for earned paid time off in accordance with state law.
Hours: Teaching from 6pm to 9pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings; August through May. Additional hours per week for prep time, meetings, professional development, etc.
Location: Bedford Campus with occasional travel to Lowell, as needed
Expected Start Date: August 12, 2025
