The Associate, Media Activation plays a critical role in executing and optimizing digital display campaigns on behalf of agency clients, leveraging platforms such as The Trade Desk (TTD) and DV360. This role is focused on the end-to-end activation process, ensuring campaigns are set up accurately, optimized for performance, and aligned with client objectives. The Associate works closely with internal teams to deliver media strategies, manage reporting, and support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Activation & Optimization

  • Set up, manage, and optimize display campaigns across platforms such as The Trade Desk and DV360, ensuring accurate targeting, pacing, and budget management.
  • Implement campaign strategies in line with client objectives, including audience targeting, creative trafficking, and performance optimization.
  • Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, such as CTR, CPM, and ROAS, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues, working closely with internal teams and platform support as needed.

Platform Management & Reporting

  • Maintain expertise in display platforms (TTD, DV360) to ensure efficient campaign execution and optimization.
  • Generate mid- and post-campaign performance reports, providing insights and actionable recommendations for client teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate and timely data, ensuring alignment with client expectations.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with the Media Activation team to align campaign strategies with broader client goals.
  • Work closely with Creative, Analytics, and Partner Success teams to ensure all assets and tracking requirements are in place for successful campaign delivery.
  • Communicate campaign performance updates and insights effectively to internal stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure campaigns are activated on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
  • Contribute to process improvements for campaign management workflows, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in digital display advertising.


Key Skills and Competencies

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing expectations.

  • Ability to present campaign performance insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with display platforms such as The Trade Desk and DV360.

  • Solid understanding of campaign metrics (CTR, CPM, ROAS) and optimization techniques.

  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Excel for analyzing and presenting performance data.

Organizational Excellence

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience working with display platforms such as TTD, DV360, or similar DSPs.

  • Experience with creative trafficking and troubleshooting within programmatic platforms.

  • Agency expereince a plus.
