What you’ll do:

The Risk Reporting Analyst serves as part of the Compliance and Risk Reporting Team. The role primarily focuses on analyzing, reporting, and ensuring the accuracy of risk-related data. This position contributes to developing risk assessment methodologies, generating management reports, and providing insights for regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate would have prior experience with banking or financial risk reporting, including the creation and maintenance of compliance risk assessments and data analytics.

While this role does not have supervisory responsibilities, it offers opportunities for professional development and independent management of activities as expertise grows. This position is hybrid, with a minimum of three days required in the office.

This resource will be responsible for supporting Compliance teams through the following tasks:

  • Conduct and analyze data for Consumer Compliance risk assessments and regulatory compliance.

  • Prepare and maintain annual compliance risk assessments and related documentation.

  • Design, update, and implement risk reporting methodologies and frameworks.

  • Collect, manage, and interpret data to evaluate control effectiveness and assess inherent risks.

  • Generate and deliver risk reports, including presentations for senior leadership.

  • Monitor risk exposure, identify potential issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with business leads and departments to address audits, implement new regulations, and follow up on action plans.

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data sources used for compliance assessments.

  • Provide insights on risk impacts, control frameworks, and improvement opportunities (e.g., automation).

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Consumer Compliance regulations and emerging risks.

What do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 3–5 years of experience in risk management, Consumer Compliance, financial services, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of Consumer Compliance regulatory frameworks.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.

  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Technology Skills:

  • Microsoft Suite, GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) software
