Job Description: YRCI is seeking a full-time Retirement Specialist, Associate to support our Human Resources Remote Operations Center?(HRROC™), located in Reston, VA. YRCI's?HRROC™ is a Shared Service Center that supports multiple Federal agencies and offers a friendly, collaborative team environment with access to training from industry experts! Job Description This position is a short-term position that will last around 5-6 weeks with the possibility of extending. Administer Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB), Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) benefits. Compute Service Computation Dates (SCD), and Military Deposits. Conduct New Employee Orientation presentations for Benefits. Conduct separation benefits counseling. Maintain hard copy files and scanning and uploading into the appropriate systems, as applicable. Assist with the processing of retirement applications to ensure all necessary documentation are submitted and accurately completed. Knowledge of Federal personnel rules and regulations that apply to determining creditable service and establishing SCDs. Knowledge of electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) and OPF maintenance requirements as described in the Federal Personnel Recordkeeping Guide. Provide general instructions and provide estimates for retirements.
