Today, we continue to achieve our mission “to build a community of strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children” by providing a full range of behavioral health, early childhood and youth development, substance use treatment and support services for children, adults and families in the Greater Hartford, Connecticut region.
Starting hourly rate 24.00 hour, commensurate with experience
It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
40- Rotating Schedule, 2 weekends off per month, 4 consecutive days off per month
Week 1: Monday – Friday (Monday 2pm-10pm, Tuesday 2pm-10pm, Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 1:30pm-9:30pm, Friday 2pm-10pm)
Week 2: Wednesday- Sunday (Wednesday 2pm-10pm, Thursday 1:30pm-9:30pm, Friday 2pm-10pm, Saturday 2pm-10pm, Sunday 2pm-10pm)
PROGRAM
The Eagle House Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) provides comprehensive and intensive behavioral health treatment for children ages 6-12, who present with significant emotional or behavioral difficulty and are transitioning from psychiatric hospitalization. Serving as a “step-down,” Eagle House helps prepare them for community-based treatment and a family or foster care setting. Services include coordinated treatment and care, diagnosis clarity, individual, group and family therapy, nursing services, psychiatric services and education services.
JOB SUMMARY
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the program operations and workflow on shift including supervising the direct care staff and ensuring the well-being and supervision of the youth in the program. The Shift Supervisor is effective in ensuring that the direct care staff are guiding, teaching, and serving as role models to youth utilizing a relational, trauma informed, strength- based, culturally competent behavior model to ensure that the safety and individual goals of each client are achieved. The Shift Supervisor provides coaching and support for staff. They reinforce the policies and philosophy of the organization while maintaining professional communication, verbal and written, with internal and external team members to ensure a strong and effective team approach.
