ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Proactively look out for individual and team safety
  • Provide creative/innovative ideas and solutions through problem-solving efforts, continuous Improvement (Kaizen) projects and in support of Total Quality Management techniques
  • Voice concerns and problem areas to Team Leaders, and help solve the problem
  • Maintain a strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, thereby clearly identifying irregularities that may cause damage or inefficiency and prescribing corrective measures to improve these processes
  • Report to work station prepared to work at beginning of shift, and the ability to work overtime, as needed.
  • Communicate with Team and Team Leaders to help continuous flow
  • Apply sound problem-solving skills in order to maintain a high standard of quality to our customers
  • Work at different work stations as production needs require, and be able to gain proficiency in all processes in a reasonable amount of time per instructions/training provided

 QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Work necessary overtime to support customer demand
  • Excellent attendance
  • Able to work safely around all production processes
  • Safely lift 25 lbs, unaided, and up to 75lbs with assistance
  • Must possess good mechanical aptitude and follow standardized work
  • History of experience with simple hand tools and measuring devices
