Summary

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Reads pick list to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Uses Radio Frequency Readers (RF reader) to relieve inventory, record serial numbers and invoice items picked.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Loads materials into vehicles and secures cargo as appropriate to prevent damage.
• Moves load to appropriate transportation vehicle.
• Verifies and documents appropriate shipping information as required and attaches safety and other required labels.
• Assembles crates to contain bulk-pack products.
• Prepare shipments for air and ocean transportation.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• And/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be willing and available to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
