Salary Range: $180000.00 - $250000.00 Salary

Description:

Sabel Systems has an immediate opening for an experienced Chief Product and Technology Officer. This position will lead the formulation of strategic technology solutions and services for delivery to the Department of Defense, specifically the USAF, US Army, USMC, USN, USSF.

As the Chief Product and Technology Officer, you will craft and implement solutions and support service strategies tailored to the DoD, translating needs into effective, best-in-class solutions that drive both mission success for our customers and growth for Sabel Systems. With a blend of strong technical expertise, operational excellence, and an entrepreneurial mindset, you'll embrace an outcome-focused approach to problem-solving. Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, to develop strategic solutions that address complex challenges. You are a technology evangelist and industry thought leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive solution strategy and roadmap that delivers mission-aligned products and services that can be delivered to Sabel customers.

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure solutions that solve real customer challenges and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer and customer delivery leaders to align product development and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, ensuring offerings are positioned and executed effectively to?meet current and future client needs

  • Drive GTM planning for new products and capabilities, including value proposition development, competitive differentiation, pricing strategy, and launch readiness.

  • Build and refine a high-performing, matrixed, and cross-functional technology organization, incorporating the necessary functions to drive growth while cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and technology vendors, to foster collaboration and mutual success.

  • Oversee the R&D budget, ensuring prudent management of technology-related expenses and alignment with the Sabel Systems' growth strategy.

  • Collaborate with fellow executive team members to identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships, offering guidance and support throughout the business growth lifecycle.

  • Stay ahead of technological trends, emerging technology, industry shifts, and best practices to ensure the sector remains at the forefront of innovation.

  • Represent the organization as a thought leader at industry events, conferences, and forums, contributing valuable insights to the broader technological community.

  • Spearhead the integration of AI technologies to advance operational efficiency and enhance customer value.



Qualification:
  • 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role, ideally within Department of Defense industry companies.

  • Strong experience and relationships in Product Lifecycle Management and surrounding technologies. (Siemens, PTC, Dassault, Ansys, MathWorks, CAD, CAE, MS&A, etc.)

  • Strong experience Innovating and taking Technical Products and Solutions to Market and developing Go To Market Strategies.

  • Strong track record of successfully navigating matrixed organizations, building consensus, and influencing key stakeholders across diverse teams.

  • Deep expertise in Enterprise IT, including software development, cloud infrastructure, IT operations, cybersecurity, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

  • Experience collaborating with external stakeholders such as strategic alliance partners, vendors, and customers.

  • Strategic thinker with robust business acumen, skilled at aligning technology initiatives with broader organizational goals to drive growth and success.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Willingness to travel as needed, with flexibility for up to 25% travel.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
