JOB TITLE: Human Resources Intern

Non Exempt Position

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Human Resources

DEPARTMENT: Administrative

BASIC FUNCTION:

Offers administrative support for the Human Resources department in all areas of recruiting, benefits, employee relations, and other duties as assigned.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Provide secretarial and other support as needed to the Human Resources Department, including, but not limited to general organization, keeping filing systems in order, and record keeping.

? Prepare packets to be distributed to all new employees.

? Help with all government reporting.

? Gather and prepare information for auditors in preparation of yearly audit of 401K plan.

? Maintenance of employee files on the HR/ Payroll System.

? Distribute and mail payroll checks.

? Provide assistance with fiscal year end employee service awards as well as Kito Spirit events.

? Maintain COMPLETE CONFIDENTIALITY with all employee personal data.

? Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

? Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.

? Perform other duties as requested by company management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

? Experience in a confidential administrative support position.

? Good communication skills, both oral and written.

? Demonstrated strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products with exceptional skills in Excel.

? Excellent phone skills.

? Excellent people skills.

? Prior Human Resource/Payroll office experience would be helpful.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

? Must be able to sit 8 hours per day.

? Must be able to lift mail bins as well as bulk mailing sacks.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

? Confidentiality must be maintained with regard to all payroll, insurance and HR

issues.

? Willing to help out in other areas when help is necessary.

? Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

? Demonstrate a positive and business-like attitude.

? Team Player.

? Ability to work independently.

? Conduct all interactions with customers (internal and external), vendors, field

sales representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive,

courteous and respectful manner.

? Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences

have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish

effectiveness of the company.
