Description:

This position is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and selling residential pumping and drain field work with direct
contact with Wind River Environmental customers. Responsibilities include operating a company service truck and driving to various locations to customer septic tanks. **Will Train**


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspection of Septic Tanks and Systems

2. Completes thorough assessments of work needed and educates customers on all service recommendations

3. Responsible for assisting with site assessments for drain fields

4. Able to dig Septic Tanks and other jobs as assigned

5. Serve as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints

6. Follow safety rules and exercise safe work practice

7. Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental

8. Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order

9. Recommend any maintenance or service

10. Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.)

11. Daily pre-and post-trip maintenance (check fluids, tires, supplies)

12. Completion and submission of quote and service paperwork to management in a timely manner, if required

13. Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner

14. Discuss and recommend adequate maintenance service frequency with the customer

15. Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols Other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

Sales background preferred

Ability to make on the job decisions

Passion for helping people and problem solving

Ability to work independently

Must be willing to work on call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays)

Ability to read and interpret documents including Company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs

Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management

Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet deadlines

Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills

Ability to perform basic math functions
