Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Coordinator - Military veterans preferred

Position Summary:
The EHS & Compliance Coordinator ensures that the facility maintains compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. This role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of environmental, health, and safety programs. The coordinator is also responsible for ensuring all regulatory and ISO documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitor environmental metrics and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on environmental and safety topics.
• Track EHS performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Prepare for and participate in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits.
• Maintain documentation related to hazardous materials, waste disposal, and chemical safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in EHS or compliance in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and ISO regulations.
• Strong recordkeeping and communication skills.
