As a database design and development specialist, this position will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems and applications for products in Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure. This includes database schema design, experience with the infrastructure for accessing the database, performance tuning and High Availability and disaster recovery. This position will work on our next-generation computer-aided dispatch system in a high-performance agile/scrum team of mixed disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment preferred
• Experience in .Net development with C# preferred
• Experience with relational database concepts and SQL required
  • Oracle and SQLServer
  • Windows, Linux and Azure platforms

• Experience with these access technologies required
  • ADO .net
  • Entity Framework
  • Linq
  • PL/SQL
  • TSQL

• Experience with Database administration and maintenance required
