Senior Operation Shift Executive - Military veterans preferred

Job Title: Senior Operation Shift Executive Location: Pune, Chakan Department: Operations Reports To: Operations Manager / Shift Manager Job Summary:The Senior Operation Shift Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing shift operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient workflow. This role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of service delivery and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of making critical decisions under pressure. Key Responsibilities :Supervise and lead the shift team to ensure efficient execution of daily operations. Monitor operational processes and workflows to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Serve as the point of contact for all operational issues during the assigned shift. Prepare daily shift reports, logbooks, and incident reports. Coordinate handover between shifts to ensure continuity and proper communication. Identify operational bottlenecks and escalate unresolved issues to the management. Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of junior shift staff. Ensure adherence to quality standards and operational procedures. Troubleshoot equipment or system failures and liaise with the maintenance team when required. Maintain records of shift activities and contribute to performance analysis and process improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in an operations or shift-based supervisory role. Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with operational software/tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in [specific industry, e.g., logistics, manufacturing, IT, etc.] Knowledge of lean operations or Six Sigma principles. Emergency response or crisis management experience is a plus.
