GMC has an opening for Practice Leader to support our Water/Wastewater Team in either our Greenville, SC, Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Charlotte, TN, Tampa, FL, or Atlanta, GA offices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects while assessing project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, or market demand.  Technical

  • Establish scientific or technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management
  • Evaluate environmental regulations or social pressures related to environmental issues to inform strategic or operational decision making
  • Utilize and educate staff on critical tools for success including software, analysis and research

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience
  • Master's or PhD in Engineering
  • Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of technical and contemporary issues
  • Licensure and Certification:  Professional Engineer
