Overview

Alliance Laundry Systems, a leading global provider of commercial laundry equipment, is seeking a motivated IT Development Intern to join our team in Ripon, WI. This internship offers hands-on experience in software development, application modernization, and technical documentation. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals on real-world projects that impact our manufacturing operations while gaining valuable industry experience.



Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Business Applications Development

    • Create and enhance applications supporting manufacturing processes
    • Develop solutions using the .NET framework with business logic integration
    • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand and implement requirements
  • Legacy Application Migration to .NET Core

    • Modernize older applications by migrating them to .NET Core framework
    • Transfer existing queries and validations with minimal refactoring
    • Apply best practices for application modernization
  • Code Documentation and Workflow Visualization

    • Document existing code flows using Miro or similar visualization tools
    • Create visual representations of application architecture
    • Develop comprehensive documentation to improve knowledge sharing


Qualifications



Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Understanding of software development principles
  • Familiarity with .NET programming (C#)
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
