DHL Global Forwarding Madagascar has an opening for an Credit Controller where you will be required to work closely with the Financial Controller to support compliance with OTC policy and aid collections, especially more complicated/legal collections. In this Credit Controller position

• You will ensure compliance with OTC policy and credit management processes. Control the release of entries for accounts on hold.
• You will have the expertise in credit management and collection processes.
• You will assist with collections of key accounts, with a focus on “risky” or potentially legal accounts which will be allocated to the OTC professional’s portfolio.
• You will execute in conjunction with Shared Service Centre team the strategy for OTC process.
• You will act as a relationship builder across internal functions.
• You will support compliance to policies, procedures and SOPs for OTC policy.
• You will develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers from a finance perspective.
• You will direct resolution of internal and external disputes/queries.
• You will coordination with legal counsel where necessary for collection of legal debtors.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• Diploma in Finance or equivalent qualification is beneficial.
• Matric.
• At least 5 years’ experience in related filed.

• Excellent communicator in English, both written and oral.
• Excellent knowledge of Credit and collection processes.
• Good knowledge in local legal requirements, including the legal requirements of tax invoices.
• Experience of working with an outsourced team will be an advantage.
