Description

The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a College Manufacturing Intern in Manufacturing Division to work in our Huntsville, Alabama site from roughly 5/12/25 – 7/11/25. This is an exciting opportunity to use a student’s education & gain practical experience while working with a cross-function team to understand processes & data. This position is expected to work between 20-30 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to use the MS Office suite of software to perform analytical analysis and provide updates to management weekly on progress, issues & recommendations. 
  • Write project ending report (task, findings, results, etc).
  • Work with a variety of organizations to understand processes & outputs in a teaming work environment. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidate must be an active College student at an accredited University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of college education with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must provide own housing & meals. No relocation provided.    


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to understand & use CAD software.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00
