  • Evaluate and analyze claim data to identify trends and recommend proactive measures to reduce future claims.
  • Coordination with Safety and Operations:
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Safety Professionals to integrate safety practices into claims management and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Work with Operations Management to ensure that claims handling aligns with operational priorities and project timelines.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with safety and operations teams to discuss ongoing claims, identify potential risks, and develop action plans to address them.
  • Participate in job site safety audits and incident reviews, providing claims expertise to help prevent future incidents.
  • Risk Mitigation:
  • Partner with project managers, safety teams, and legal counsel to develop and implement strategies for reducing claim frequency and severity.
  • Participate in safety meetings and conduct site visits as necessary to assess potential risks and recommend preventive measures.
  • Review contracts and insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with industry standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on claim trends, costs, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage the claims budget, ensuring cost-effective handling and resolution of claims.
  • Work closely with insurers, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure proper claim handling and resolution.
  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay current on changes in legislation and industry standards that may impact claims management and risk mitigation.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Liaise with external vendors, including legal counsel, investigators, and medical providers, to ensure proper handling of claims.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contracts
  • Assist the Contracts Department by gathering and providing detailed information on past and current claims, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of prequalification questionnaires.
