Company Requirements

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to satisfy the following:

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks


Review initial screening and confirmation data; Review and certify reagent validation; Complete business record affidavits; Review all QA/QC data for confirmation assays and apply rules for acceptability; Upgrade samples when requested by Client Services; Certify negative confirmatory results.


Schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Requirements:
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field, plus 24 months experience in a closely related occupation. Requires 24 months experience with the following: Negative result certification; Instrumentation experience with GCMS, LCMS, GCFID; Review of chromatographic and mass spectrometric data; Data analysis, sequencing, and processing including using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS); Statistical analysis and advanced mathematics.

Special Position Requirements

  • Position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • This position will occasionally require overtime and/or weekend coverage.
  • Lab positions generally involve handling of biohazardous materials and dangerous chemicals.
  • Need to be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
