Overview
Remote Position (OR/WA Only)
This is a remote position – incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location. All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.

Responsible for supporting Legacy Health Philanthropy activities by working with the constituent relationship management system. Works closely with gift officers, events staff, research staff and annual giving/communications staff to create donor lists, pull data for analysis projects and assist them with use of the database. The analyst writes queries; ensures the integrity of philanthropy database through consistent coding, maintenance, procedures documentation, and review; writes and disseminates user instructions to Philanthropy staff, as needed; improves fundraising performance through the analysis of events, appeals and other fundraising activities. The analyst may also use specific programming language to write reports.
This position provides critical assistance through reporting and data analysis to enhance fundraising and performance metrics.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer systems.
Experience:
• Three years of experience in data management or a closely related field.
• Experience with a constituent or customer relationship management system preferred and experience in a fundraising environment desirable.
• Experience in data cleanup and procedure creation preferred.
• Experience in database reporting tools such as SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, etc. is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical skills, including expertise in the modeling, manipulating, and analyzing data, and communicating findings.
Knowledge writing SQL code.
Intermediate knowledge using MS Visual Studio or other IDE.
Advanced computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Excel.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines with short turn-around times.
Strong troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with Blackbaud products including CRM, Raiser’s Edge, BBIS or NetCommunity preferred.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of prospect management systems.
Strong ethics and ability to keep confidences: must be able to handle confidential materials and situations with sensitivity and good judgment.
Advanced analytical skills.
Understanding of multiple methodologies, including data mining, segmentation and analytics.
Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
