Description:

  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources Dept. by investigating and responding to employee questions. Provide information to managers/facilitators as requested. Answer HR department phone calls and respond to outside parties on employment verifications and miscellaneous Human Resources related topics.
  • Assist Human Resources staff in recruiting efforts by managing internal postings, testing candidates preparing PPE for tours, completing verifications of employment, reference checking, and scheduling interviews as needed.
  • Ensure that new hire paperwork is completed fully, IDs verified, and all information entered into the HRIS system accurately.
  • Accurately enter payroll changes into the computer system. Maintain and audit logs of employment changes. Produce and distribute reports weekly.
  • Coordinate placement of, and resolve problems related to temporary personnel. Work with requisitioning departments and outside agencies to fill needs.
  • Maintain personnel-related records including training records and confidential employment and compensation information.
  • Oversee administration the of Company service award program and support WC General Manager in completing monthly birthday and anniversary cards.
  • Monitor and maintain department supplies including forms.
  • Coordinate Company meetings as well as social events and Company-wide activities
  • Prepare materials/room for new hire orientation (NEO) including preparing refreshments and ordering lunches.
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions including, but not limited to preparation of bulletin board notices, assistance with open enrollment documents, posting to TV monitors, issuing badges, ordering flowers, etc.
Requirements:
  • Strong HR experience including onboarding and open enrollment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer skills.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Suite and office equipment.
  • Above-average organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, be able to multi-task, and consistently complete all assigned tasks with high levels of quality.
  • A degree in business/ administration or a minimum of 2 years in a similar field is preferred.
