Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Overview:

• Help implement treatment plans and therapy exercises to improve patients' physical and mental abilities.
• Track and document patient progress, noting any changes or improvements.
• Support patients in daily activities and use of adaptive equipment to enhance independence.
• Teach patients and caregivers how to continue exercises and use adaptive devices at home.
• Keep accurate records of patient progress and treatments.
• Work with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Qualifications:

• Active OTA license in state of practice.
• Must have a driver's license or reliable transportation
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous Experience as an OTA is preferred.
