Job Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing and supporting DHL subsidiaries treasury function and assuring compliance with Corporate Finance’s Treasury policy for the entire Latin America Region including Mexico. Develop and execute treasury plans to effectively manage cash, funding, banking relationships and financial risk, and optimize capital and legal entity structures in line with business objectives, guidelines, regulations and compliance requirements.

Your Tasks:

• Act as the entry point for all Treasury matters for DHL subsidiaries in the region, guiding, channeling an escalating issues for the proper resolution.
• Prepare and analyze entity funding requests, which may include debt or equity. Review, and obtain management approval for such funding, implement and monitor entity borrowing.
• Determine, monitor and implement maximum levels of operational cash for subsidiaries. Request repatriation to the In-House Bank or investment of excess cash with approved banks.
• Participate in annual entity equity structure reviews. Propose solutions and implement results of such review, which may include injecting equity or declaring dividends/return of capital. Manage, monitor  implementation, follow up on proper accounting.    
• Manage and support internal and external FX hedging program. This includes monthly reporting and analysis, as well as user training support in the processes and systems.
• Support management of Payment Service Provider (PSP) programs including but not limited to selection, implementation, monitoring and resolving service issues. Work in coordination with Global and Regional PSP experts.
• Train subsidiaries in Treasury Policy and processes. Develop, implement and deliver Treasury Training programs as needed.
• Maintain and develop DHL global Banks relationships, prepare and participate in periodic assessment, including Treasury RFPs/ price negotiations. Implement banking products.
• Support a Project Management framework for Legal Entity matters, such as the creation and dissolution of entities, legal divestitures and consolidations. Work in coordination with the Tax and Legal departments.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field required.
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish required.
• MBA or an advanced degree in business, management, or finance preferred.
• CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred.
• Working Knowledge of Portuguese a plus.
• 10+ years in a Treasury related field in a global multinational. 
• SAP, PowerBI preferred.
• Office 365 suite.
