Position Highlights:

  • $27.79-$34.05/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

  • $5,000 Sign-on bonus in first paycheck & $2,000 bonus at 12 months of employment

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a dental or healthcare setting

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Knowledge of dental practices and procedures

What You’ll Do:

  • Coach, mentor, and train dental support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance or behavior issues.

  • Encourage and support staff in seeking educational opportunities and job-related training.

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection of dental support staff. Provide comprehensive orientation on job requirements, policies, and procedures.

  • Create and maintain a work environment that supports diverse ideas, backgrounds, and styles. Drive employee engagement and retention.

  • Plan and manage the daily functions of the Dental Department. Ensure efficient workflow and coverage for all support staff.

  • Manage Provider schedules to ensure guidelines are followed and daily targets are met.

  • Review and monitor various reports in the Epic system, including sliding fee eligibility and utilization.

  • Manage AIDET patient communication surveys, compile results, and implement improvements.

  • Handle all Release of Information requests and coordinate with Risk Management.

  • Prepare reports for leadership and ensure compliance with YVFWC policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED + 5 years of experience in a dental office (front or back) and/or front medical office OR

  • Associate’s Degree + 3 years of experience in a dental office (front or back) and/or front medical office OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year of experience in a dental office (front or back) and/or front medical office

  • One year of supervisory experience is preferred

  • EFDA certification preferred within 90 days of hire

  • Dental Assisting National Board of Radiology Proficiency preferred

  • CPR Certification is required within 30 days of hire
