Are you a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment? We’re looking for an Implementation Project Specialist to support the sale and seamless onboarding of new clients. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales Executives and internal teams to coordinate all aspects of implementation, take ownership of projects, communicate clearly, and ensure a smooth, professional experience for every client—from initial kickoff through successful completion.

The pay range for this position for Western Washington varies between $60,435.00 – $84,533.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $56,145.00 - $78,532.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

  • Coordinate all onboarding activities including scheduling, documentation, eligibility, contracts, applications, and benefit materials to ensure timely and accurate setup.
  • Provide consultative support to clients and producers, addressing questions and ensuring readiness throughout the onboarding process.
  • Partner with Sales Executives to support client onboarding from commitment through full plan implementation.
  • Gather and synthesize client requirements and data to develop clear, actionable specifications.
  • Build and manage implementation plans with defined timelines, deliverables, and regular updates for all involved teams and clients.
  • Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance across all implementation components.
  • Facilitate smooth client transitions to the appropriate account teams, providing necessary documentation and communication support.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and updates that improve onboarding processes, benefit design, and overall client experience.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on benefits and onboarding systems across small and large group segments.
  • Respond to client issues with professionalism, ensuring resolution and satisfaction.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to diverse audiences across all levels.
  • Proven capability in influencing outcomes, managing expectations, and building trust across clients and internal teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in benefits administration, implementation, or client services—preferably within healthcare, insurance, or related industries; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in public speaking, training delivery, or presentation design preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and timelines with clarity, professionalism, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience leading or contributing to cross-functional projects and navigating competing departmental priorities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Washington State Office of Insurance Commissioner Health and Disability License within 90 days of hire.
