Branch Operations Support Intern - Bilingual
JOB DUTIES
- Works with the Branch Operations Support team in translating training documentation and recording training videos
- Translate content within documents, web pages, and software
- Provide quality assurance for the translation process
- Work with a range of media and translation software
- Resolve issues associated with translation, localization, and culture
- Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
- Assist with inbound calls and provide a high level of customer service with internal and external customers
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Typically requires an undergraduate student working towards a bachelor's degree in their junior or senior year of study with an interest in business/supply chain.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Must be fluent (close to native) in Spanish or French or both.
- For Spanish: Mexican Spanish is preferable but not required
- For French: Canadian French is preferable but not required
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 Week summer program
- Familiarity with localization guidelines and standards
- Ability to convert written materials into a second language (Spanish, French or both)
- Excellent translation, writing, and communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Desire to learn
