Job Summary
The Human Development Institute at the University of Kentucky is looking to fill an Early Care and Education Coach position. This position will work as a Quality Coach.
Serving the Two Rivers Region (the seven counties of the Green River ADD and the ten counties of the Barren River ADD), this Quality Coach position will:
- Provide technical assistance using effective and current evidence-based practices, including maintaining reliability of at least 85% on the four Environment Rating Scales.
- Evaluate technical assistance provided and implement feedback data into technical assistance activities.
- Document technical assistance activities according to policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with regional team and statewide network of ECE Coaches providing technical assistance to ECE providers in the areas of best practice, quality, professional development, and training.
This is a remote position requiring a home office space. Significant travel is required throughout the 17 county regions for on-site visits to deliver relationship-based, individualized technical assistance to help childcare providers increase their KY All STARS Quality Rating.
Preferred candidates will live within the Two Rivers Region, have both lived experiences and childcare work experiences within the region, and demonstrate knowledge of the Two Rivers ECE community.
