Your Impact 

As Lutron’s Enterprise Data Architect, you will: 

  • Define and execute a modern data architecture strategy that aligns with business goals and industry best practices.

  • Foster collaboration between business units and IT, ensuring that data initiatives meet both strategic and operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Data Architecture Design 
    Develop and implement an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy, creating scalable, secure, and high-performance frameworks to support business goals and advanced analytics. 
  • Technical Leadership and Governance 
    Establish and enforce data governance policies, provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, and recommend innovative data platform strategies. 
  • Data Platform Strategy 
    Architect robust platforms that integrate diverse data sources and design reliable ingestion, transformation, and consumption processes. 
  • Advanced Analytics Enablement 
    Create architectures that support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and machine learning workflows with real-time and batch processing capabilities. 
  • Enterprise Technology Integration 
    Ensure seamless interoperability across technology ecosystems with comprehensive interface standards and architectural blueprints. 
  • Risk Management and Compliance 
    Design secure data frameworks adhering to industry regulations, incorporating data masking, encryption, and robust metadata strategies. 
  • Performance Optimization 
    Develop high-performance, cost-effective data solutions leveraging cloud technologies, and establish optimization frameworks for data platforms. 
  • Innovation and Leadership 
    Stay ahead of emerging trends, influence leadership with technical vision, and mentor teams to foster continuous innovation. 


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.  
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned 
  • Experience: 12+ years in data management, architecture, or engineering, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role. 
  • Technical Expertise: 
  • Mastery of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc). 
  • Deep knowledge of modern data architectures, including data lakehouses, real-time processing, and event-driven designs. 
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks. 
  • Leadership and Communication: 
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive enterprise-level change. 
  • Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with a focus on team development.
