As the Senior Provider Communications Specialist, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of all communications for our Provider Relations team. From content creation to campaign planning, you’ll drive clear, consistent messaging that supports provider engagement and partnership.

The pay range for this position In Western Washington varies between $60,435.00 – $84,533.00, and for Eastern Washington varies between $56,145.00 - $78,532.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates, including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza Corp. intends to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.

  • Develop and implement communication strategies that support provider engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and align with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Maintain an annual communications calendar to support planning and coordination.
  • Create, edit, and publish content across communication channels, including newsletters, the provider portal, and other department initiatives.
  • Ensure multi-channel content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent department voice.
  • Design basic graphics and data visualizations that follow branding standards.
  • Track media coverage related to oral health and provider-focused topics.
  • Manage the email distribution platform, including segmentation and targeting to support effective outreach.
  • Define and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of communication channels.
  • Support provider outreach initiatives and educate the Provider Relations team on communication standards and brand guidelines to ensure consistency and impact.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Internal Communications, and Arcora to deliver brand-aligned initiatives.
  • Represent Provider Relations on the Aligned Communications Committee.

Experience, skills, and education do you need to have to succeed in the position: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

  • 6+ years of experience in communications, including developing and implementing content strategies across multiple channels.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience creating clear, plain language content across multiple digital platforms.
  • Proficient in communication and design tools, including Planner, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Constant Contact, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, WordPress, Canva, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Skilled in creating visuals that align with brand standards.
  • Delivers high-quality, accurate work on time, even in fast-paced or shifting environments.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and solve complex communication challenges.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision, using sound judgment, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in place of a degree.
