Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review a variety of documents, including contracts, legal records, correspondence, and other materials for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with internal guidelines or external regulations.
  • Document Control - Organize and categorize documents in accordance with project requirements, ensuring all files are correctly labeled, indexed, and easy to retrieve.
  • Work closely with legal teams, compliance officers, or other relevant departments to ensure that document reviews align with project goals and timelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive documents in accordance with company privacy policies and legal regulations.
  • Prepare and provide progress updates to management on the status of document review tasks, highlighting any challenges or delays.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance at work during normal business hours.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Familiarity with document management software and tools (Microsoft Suite, SharePoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents for accuracy and relevance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Business, or English) or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in document review or a related field (e.g., legal assistant, paralegal, administrative assistant).

Preferred Certification: N/A

The salary range for this full-time role is $19.86-$25.15 per hour. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
