POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Line Delivery Coordinator- Bonded Panels is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of all parts in the designated Product Line (PL) and to communicate statuses and delivery plans to the Customer Service Representatives and the Delivery Assurance Manager. They are the main point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders for the bonded panels.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performance management: responsible for daily tracking of internal feeder sites, suppliers and Tulsa operations towards Bonded Panels

Internal Feeders: Ensure delivery targets are met and quality issues get escalated through the right process of quality clinic and disposition

Pre – Bond: ensure delivery and quality metrics and follow up and give status on daily basis.

Main point of contact with processing supplier to ensure daily throughput is met, liaison with internal and external Delivery Coordinator, program managers to ensure lead time, priorities, Quality Notifications are completed on time.

Weekly / monthly reports and KPIs must be kept and reported.

Risk management log is to be kept and updated

Competitiveness management: financial management of the Bonded panels program is to be monitored including:

Clocking on a daily basis and ensure liaison with supervisor and operations to keep efficiency on cycle times

Ensure product flows on schedule and on time to deliver towards the customer

At closing help to liaison with finance and operations to understand the contribution margin of the program and highlight any opportunity to GM and Business Unit Leader

Portfolio management: ensure that any extra cost, performance issue is tackled in a proper manner and escalated to commercial, engineering, operations and suggest corrective actions (re pricing, CM improvement, re-engineering or other projects)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and direct internal and external customer orders through the manufacturing process.
  • Respond to delivery related or product related inquires as needed. This includes direct communication with plant operations, shipping, and quality.
  • Daily engagement with the Delivery Assurance Manager to identify delivery risks, barriers and delivery status.
  • Constantly looking to identify obstacles early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed.
  • Identify and participate in resolution of process flow routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain delivery schedules to ensure on time completion of product
  • Work closely with site operations to ensure stable workflow of orders, priorities, and stock management (i.e., stagnant WIP, work order issues, holds). This includes direct communication with the Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager.
  • Some sites will require the Delivery Coordinator to schedule production. You will use site scheduling tools to set clear scheduling, adhering to capacity and specific site limitations. With sites that have a master scheduler, work closely to ensure timely release and correct flow of production orders.
  • Identify and direct resolution of process flow routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussion in delivery clinics to identify root cause and prioritized corrective actions.
  • Identify and direct resolution of supplier capacity issues and drive action plans to mitigate delivery and capacity risk.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of progressive operations and leadership manufacturing management experience with 7-10 years overall manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace systems and related component knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions one-on-one from groups or individuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, utilizing standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of project management processes and the ability to schedule resources, manage scope, risks, issues, constraints, budget as well as manage change.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
  • May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds
