Occupational Therapist Job Overview:

• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel as necessary, in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
• Ensure adherence to department and patient treatment schedules, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements, and attendance at work-related meetings.
• Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences, and other related meetings.
• Make referrals to other disciplines and agencies to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
• Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team, including the community physician, to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen based on each patient's needs and capabilities.

Occupational Therapist Job Qualifications:

• Active OT license in state of practice.
• Must have a driver's license or reliable transportation
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous Experience as an OT is preferred.
