Description:

Perform operations, maintenance, and development of the federal agencies' public-facing
websites utilizing digital service techniques to identify and solve core user needs through the development and
release to end users of a functional and regularly updated site on the DRUPAL platform.

General Position Description:

The Sr. Drupal Developer will be responsible for leading deliverables, including:

Drupal upgrades and migrations

System design and architecture

Custom module development and implementation

Issue resolution and troubleshooting

Operations and maintenance tasks

Position Qualifications/Experience/Education:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field preferred

Candidate should at least have 8 years of Drupal experience

Related certifications, including Certified Drupal Developer

Demonstrated proficiency and knowledge in Drupal development including Drupal 10 and including custom module and theme development

Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology, specifically Scrum

Full stack development experience, including experience with Drupal front-end theming

8+ years leading development efforts working in a team environment

Experience with Microsoft SQL or MySQL

Hands-on experience with Drupal development and administration, including patching Drupal core and managing Cloud environments (Acquia and/or AWS).

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

Experience in troubleshooting web applications, addressing security vulnerabilities, and maintaining website uptime and performance.

Familiarity with Acquia Cloud tools and services, including Acquia Cloud Site Factory, Acquia Search, and Acquia Dev Desktop.

Experience using Docker

Experience deploying on Linux environment

Experience with configuration management tools

Expert level understanding of SDLC and development best practices

Able to multi-thread and move multiple projects forward

Experience working in Agile teams

Strong research and analytical skills

Capability to determine, understand, and document the business case and project scope

Desired Qualifications

Agile Scrum certification preferred

5+ years of experience with JavaScript

Experience with responsive design

Experience in CI/CD

Experience with Akamai or other CDN technology

Experience using Rancher, Kubernetes

Integration experience in SiteImprove and SOLR

Experience with issue/change management software (i.e. JIRA)

Experience using Angular and/or ReactJS

Competencies:

Ability to communicate and present complex technical concepts and analysis to technical and non-technical audiences

Strong oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated attention to detail

Proven time management skills to ensure that tasks and documents are delivered according to schedule

Works well in a team environment

Clearance Required:

Candidate must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance with the U.S. government.
