Challenging Projects:
 As an ISR SME at JCTM, you will help define the future of Marine Corps force modernization. Your mission will involve shaping integrated solutions across domains, conceptualizing innovative approaches to enhance warfighting capabilities, and advising stakeholders from action officers to senior leaders. This unique role requires fluency in operational thinking, emerging technologies, and the acquisition process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and collaborate with Marine Corps leadership on modernization initiatives aligned with the “How We Fight” framework.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into actionable operational strategies for USMC and Joint audiences.
  • Integrate intelligence Programs of Record (PORs) with fires and other warfighting functions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Shape S&T efforts that inform acquisition strategies while aligning with emerging requirements.
  • Coordinate with CDD (CE-Intel, CE-Info), DCI (IID), and other key stakeholders to identify and exploit integration opportunities.
  • Leverage knowledge of USMC’s POM build process and alternative funding mechanisms such as MIP/NIP, TENCAP, and WILF.
  • Develop and deliver presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders, clearly conveying technical and strategic insights.
  • Promote a forward-leaning culture by regularly challenging legacy systems and envisioning implementable enhancements.

State-of-the-Art Technology:
 You will work with advanced military systems and integrate technologies like AI/ML, MCISRE platforms, and rapidly developed prototypes that shape the future of ISR and operations.

New Skills:
 Work at the intersection of strategy, systems, and solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and acquisition professionals while building fluency across domains.

You Have:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited institution
  • 12+ years of experience in USMC tactical to operational level multi-discipline ISR operations
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps command structures and MEU operations, ideally with S/G-2 experience at Echelon V or higher
  • Strong understanding of national intelligence community structures and relationships
  • Demonstrated success briefing USMC or DoD senior leadership
  • Experience with integrating ISR technologies into operational workflows
  • Deep familiarity with MCISRE Intelligence Programs of Record
  • Strong ability to conceptualize, visualize, and communicate technical strategies effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across Services and command elements

Nice to Haves:

  • PMP certification
  • 20+ years of multi-intelligence USMC tactical to strategic level experience
  • Experience managing Office of Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering programs
  • Deep knowledge of USMC requirements development processes, especially for DC CD&I
  • Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities in ISR or operational scenarios
  • Familiarity with remote sensing, FMV/SAR/SIGINT processing and fusion, and small UAS employment
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and coordinating DoD intelligence plans or policies
  • Proposal writing experience for defense programs

Clearance:
 Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
